BANDAISAN GEOPARK > C.Nekoma Volcano Area C.Nekoma Volcano Area  Outer rim of a volcanic crater which surrounds caldera lake Oguninuma and that of Nekoma volcano which is brothers volcano of Mount Bandai Nekoma volcano in the west of the Bandai volcano is a volcano formed by volcanic activity of the quality of andesite same as Mount Bandai 400,000-1 million years ago.Oguninuma is the crater that there was by the eruption of the Nekoma volcano. There is Nekomagatake in the outer rim of a volcanic crater.A lot of day lilies bloom in early summer. The Oguninuma moor plant community is appointed to the natural monument of the country.  |
